Shadows on the Web

is dedicated to

Charles Randolph Grean

(1913-2003)

Mr. Grean was a performer, songwriter, arranger and music industry executive of RCA Records for over 60 years.

He was the one-time manager of C&W legend, Eddy Arnold and wrote the songs, "The Thing" and "Never Been Kissed".

Mr Grean produced a smash hit record in 1949 for Merv Griffin, "I've Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts" and arranged the string accompaniment for Nat King Cole's timeless classic, "The Christmas Song".  He also arranged and conducted the soundtrack for the 1968 Walt Disney motion picture classic, "The Jungle Book".

Very prolific indeed!

This website is also dedicated to my 'spiritual' mentor

Edward James Hughes

-aka-

Ted Hughes

08/17/30  ~  10/28/98

Ted Hughes was one of the greatest English poets of the 20th century, who lived his life on his own terms, with no excuses nor explainations, much to the dismay of all his critics.

He never fell prey to 'the dogs' of British media.

 Need I say more?

Check out his poem,

"Emily Bronte".

"There are things that we don't want to happen but have to accept, things we don't
want to know but have to learn, and people we can't live without but have to let go."
