A Deja Vu Redeux
As I succumb to these lethal wounds
I have this moment of clarity
Our moonlight surrender was long ago
And through time, Quentin has returned to me
All the while, he seemed so familiar
Yet I had reason for questions and doubt
All this time, with much uncertainty
Wondering what it was all about
Did I live in eighteen ninety-seven?
That particular year seems so unique
If I have lived before, somewhere in time
Thus explains my assassin, Angelique
As my soul separates
From these mortal remains
My spirit flows so freely
As does this blood from my veins
Indeed, I shall wait for Quentin
Another time to start anew
Whilst I leave this earthly domain
Bidding this life... a fond adieu
