Josette was found by a soccer mom with kids kicking balls at her. Frail and thin, she was nursed back to health and given to me. We were inseparable.

One day her name came to me while listening to, "Josette’s Theme". She clucks and nods at me, turns in circles or climbs on me when she wants to be loved, greets me when I come home, and comes to me for a drink. She is a blessing from heaven, and comes to me when I’m moody or upset. She is nothing less than a miracle.

This poem is a tribute to her extraordinary grace and charm.

Daniel Scuiry

When I first noticed Daniel Scuiry, he was performing at the 2005 DS Hollywood Weekend Costume Gala event. He did a most impressive dramatical reading of Bram Stoker's works in Gothic vampire attire.

Later that evening...   we met at a late night screening of "Grave Secrets",     and I gave him my business card for Shadows on the Web.

We also dined together at the 'Banquet with the Stars' and I expressed interest in publishing his work.

This poem is SO poignant!  Well worth the wait!!!

It pleases me to announce that

Daniel Scuiry,

is now a member of Shadows on the Web's,

"Shadow Writers Society"

Cheers....Daniel!!!!

My Little Josette

My little Josette

A pet, I said, without regret

You indeed my dearest friend

Ever beginning, never end

My little Josette, lullaby my girl

More love than all the world

Sighs whisper softly unfurl

More precious than pearl

Angel from above

Wings of wistful love

Sent to heal a troubled soul

My little Josette console

My little Josette over my heart

Love from the very start

Sing sweetly all your songs

To you alone my heart belongs

My little Josette

Dance and pirouette

Sing happily our duet

My heart is so beset

Bye and bye and family time

My little Josette align

Want a little drink be thine?

Yea, the pleasure all is mine!

My little Josette, Josette alone
No others in your presence shone
From your sight they all have flown
O unforgettable are you known

Every day thus do I pray:

Always may our joy here stay

Till the Angel come and say,

My Little Josette and I convey.
